Wynne Clark

Wynne (nee Mayfield) Clark, born Waukegan, Illinois on April 20, 1940, passed away surrounded by her family on February 10, 2024.
Wynne graduated Waukegan Township High School in 1958 and married the love of her life in 1961. She worked for Johnson Motors for three years before taking time off to raise her family. She returned to work at the Lake County Courthouse in the Building and Zoning Department and retired in 2003. Wynne enjoyed traveling, golf and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid QVC shopper and could often be seen around town playing the slots, enjoying a few Miller Lites and laughing with friends. Her smile and laughter were infectious, and she lit up any room she entered.
Wynne is survived by her loving husband, Bob (Skinner) of 62 years and children Brad (Christine) of
Louisville, Kentucky, Todd (Jennifer Yonan) of Waukegan and Cari (EJ Spriegel) of Wadsworth,
grandchildren, Lauren (Ryan Darko), Patrick, Drew, Lindsey, Jori, Owen and Addison, and great
grandchildren Brooklyn, Avalynn, Jiani, and Claire. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Doris Mayfield.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 16, 2024, 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with a short service at 6:00 PM at Peterson & Patch Funeral Home, 408 N. Sheridan Rd., Waukegan.
