Soolton "Sue" Buchaklian Obituary (1925

Soolton(Sue) Buchaklian, age 94, passed away July 24th 2019 at 4:30 a.m. at Sharps Hospice facility in Bonita, .ca.(San Diego). Her sons Robert Jr. and Charles were there to offer her comfort until her passing to be with the Lord. Soolton was born January 4th 1925 to parents Garabed and Mariam Tooroian in Waukegan, IL. Soolton and husband Robert were married and lived in Waukegan together until Robert's death August 21st 1992. Soolton was a lot of things to many, and was a credit to her family, church, and community. Soolton is survived by her son's Robert(Arshalous) of San Diego, Richard(Sandy) of Billings Mt., Charles of San Diego, sister Margaret of Racine, Wi., Lori and Lisa(nieces), nephews Kirk, Michael, David, John, and George of Racine Wi. Grandsons Nathan(Regina) of Sacramento, Armen of San Diego. Granddaughters Silva, her daughters Mara, Sara, and Jessica of San Diego, and Tania(David) of Columbus, Ohio. Sue retired from Abbott Labs February 28th 1987. Soolton and Robert were one of the cornerstone families in the creation of St. George's Armenian church of Waukegan along with lifelong friends Merron and Ana Paparigian. Prior to the funeral to be held at St. George's Church of Waukegan Wednesday July 31st, will be a showing from 8a.m. to 10a.m. Following the funeral, will be Soolton's burial at Graceland Memorial cemetery Of Racine, Wi. Immediately following her burial will be a celebration of life luncheon at Infusinos restaurant in Racine. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. George's Armenian Church of Waukegan.
