Latimer Correa Obituary (2023)

Latimer Correa, 101.5 years young, lifelong resident of Waukegan passed away at White Oaks in McHenry, Illinois on April 22, 2023. Latimer was born on October 3rd, 1921 in Rincon, Puerto Rico; son of Nazario Correa and Petra Caro. Latimer was a member of Immaculate Conception Church of Waukegan, proud member of Knights of Columbus and the American Legion. Latimer was a machinist and TV repairman by trade. He was a Private First Class for the United States Army, and a World War II Veteran. Latimer had a charisma that brought a smile to everyone's face. Latimer is preceded in death by his wife Calista and eight brothers and sisters. He is survived by his children Dennis (Sarah) Correa, Joy (Gene) Seppala, Lauri (Loyd) Duncan, Julie (Steve) Brewer, Timothy (Sandi) Correa; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. Latimer’s visitation will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 9:00 am with prayer service beginning at 11:00 am at Peterson & Patch Funeral Home, 408 N Sheridan Road, Waukegan, IL 60085.
