Kathryn Estelle (nee Hogan) Schueneman Obituary (1924

Kathryn Estella (nee Hogan) Schueneman, 91, of Waukegan passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Midwest Palliative and Hospice Care Center in Glenview, Illinois. She was born April 3, 1924 in Waukegan and remained a lifelong resident. Kathryn was a teacher in the Waukegan Public School District #60 for thirty years mainly as a fourth grade teacher at West School and was a member of St. Dismas Parish in Waukegan. She is survived by her sisters, Mary Loretta Knight, Patricia Hogan; brother, Terry (Elizabeth) Hogan; many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews on both sides of the family. Kathryn is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Schueneman in 1997; brother, Jack Hogan and parents, John J. and Estella Hogan. Funeral mass will be 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at St. Dismas Church 2600 Sunset Ave. Waukegan. Interment will be at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville. Visitation will be from 9:00 Am to time of mass at church. In lieu of flowers donations in her name may be made to the Waukegan Public Library 128 N. County St. Waukegan, Illinois 60085, The Ray Bardbury Waukegan Carnegie Library (The RBWCL) or charity of your choice.
