Karen (maiden name Santopoalo) Walker

Karen (maiden name Santopoalo) Walker, 73, of Leesburg Florida passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024.
She was born November 17, 1950 in Evanston, Illinois and was a longtime area resident before relocating to Florida 15 years ago.
Karen was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and worked as a nurse, healthcare administrator at St. Therese Hospital for many years.
She is survived by her loving husband, William Walker of Leesburg, FLorida; sons, Anthony (Amy) Thiel of Dover, Ohio, Shawn Laurent of Spring Grove, Illinois; grandchildren, Carter Thiel 28, Aiden Laurent 15, Arriana Laurent 10, Kieran Laurent 9.
Karen is preceded in death by her parents, James and Dorothy Santopoalo.
Funeral services and interment will be private for the family.
