Karen Chambers Celesnik

Karen Chambers Celesnik, age 87, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025. Karen was a devoted member of Mother of God Church in Waukegan and St. Mary of the Annunciation in Mundelein. She worked at the Lake County Forest Preserve and also the Lake County Recorder of Deeds office. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Celesnik.

Karen is survived by her son David Celesnik, daughters Mary (Brian) Hunter and Jennifer (Jose) Sanchez; grandchildren, Amanda (Alex) Gonzalez, Nicholas (Michelle) Sanchez, Andrew Hunter, Alec Hunter; great grandchildren Jocelynn,Fiona Gonzalez and Caleb Sanchez.
