John Allen Zupancic

John Allen Zupancic, 57, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020 at his home.
He was born August 1, 1962 in Waukegan and was a lifelong area resident. John graduated from Waukegan West and obtained a Bachelors and Masters degree. He worked in Social Services as a Program Director and was passionate about helping youth. John was a diehard Chicago sports fan and enjoyed sharing this with his daughter among many other things. He is known as a great ball player throughout his younger years and a fierce competitor.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Adriana Zupancic; mother, Shirley Zupancic; brother, Dave (Kristie) Zupancic; sister, Sandra (Wilbur) Borrero; nieces and nephews, Emily Kotrba, Sam Kotrba, Rick (Angelica) Zupancic and Jacalyn Zupancic.
John is preceded in death by his father, James Zupancic.
Funeral services and interment will be private at this time.
