Jay Weldon Hulsey

Jay Weldon Hulsey, 90, of Lebanon, Tennessee formerly of Waukegan passed away on September 1, 2020.
He was born October 8, 1929 in Ochelata, Oklahoma to Henry J. and Daisy Hulsey and was a long time area resident of Waukegan for 60 years.
Jay was a member of the Masonic Lodge 78 in Waukegan since 1963, served in the United States Army during the Korean war and retired after 41 years of service as a federal employee from M.A.I.T.
He loved reading Louie Lamar western books, avid fisherman and loved traveling with his wife.
Jay was a devoted husband, father and friend.
he is survived by his loving wife, Dianna Hulsey; children, Debbie Harris, James J. Hulsey, Michael (Dorraine) Hulsey, Chris Brown; grandchildren, Melissa (Chris) Allison, John (Brandie) Cichosz, Dawsun Harris, Ashley (Gabriel) Younan, Kristen (Nick) Egge, Heather Hulsey, Erik Hulsey, Caleb Brown, Breanna Lynn Brown, Johnathon Coxey Brown and nine great grandchildren.
Jay is preceded in death by his parents, Henry J. and Daisy Hulsey and son, William J. Hulsey in 2018.
A Masonic service will be 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Peterson & Patch Funeral Home 408 N. Sheridan Rd. Waukegan. Interment will be at Northshore Garden of Memories in North Chicago with Military services.
