James Dietmeyer

James Dietmeyer, Sr., 82, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.
He was born November 13, 1941, in Waukegan to Cyril and Marian (nee Beshel) Dietmeyer, lifelong residents of Wadsworth.
James was an avid NASCAR fan.
He is survived by his sons, Joe (Sara Martin) and Nathaniel Dietmeyer; grandchildren, Ethan, Jonah, Tate and Maisie Dietmeyer; sister, Mary Dietmeyer.
James is preceded in death by his son, Patrick Dietmeyer; parents, Cyril and Marian (nee Beshel) Dietmeyer; brother, John Dietmeyer and sister, Margaret Bock.
Funeral mass will be 11:00 AM, Monday, July 15, 2024, at St. Patrick Church 15000 W. Wadsworth Rd. Wadsworth, Illinois with Father James Merold officiating. Private interment will be at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to time of mass at the church.
