Gloria Ard

Gloria Briseno Ard, 90, of Waukegan passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 in Waukegan.
She was born March 9, 1931 in Waukegan.
Gloria owned and operated Countryside Inn Restaurant in Peel, Arkansas for 20 plus years, worked at the Veterans Administration at Great Lakes for 15 plus years and at Arkansas Health Care – Senior Care Provider.
She loved her poodles and Yorkshire terriers as well as her cat, always happy to be with family, enjoyed cooking and was an avid reader.
Gloria is survived by her sister, Gracie Briseno Rivera of Waukegan; nieces and nephews, Gloria (Joe) Rivera Grampo of Waukegan, Lou Rivera of Waukegan, Bob Morgan of Beach Park, Sandra (Robin) Taylor of West Plains, MO, Michael Briseno of California, Holly Briseno of Nevada; great nieces, Gina (Bill) Grampo Mathiesen, Arizona, Kim (Greg) Grampo Love, Wisconsin
and sister-in-law, Barbara Briseno of California.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Ard; parents, Leo and Julia Briseno; brothers, Leo, Sandy and Phil Briseno and sister-in-law, Jerri Briseno.
Funeral services will be private for the family.
