Florence Violet Furstenburg

Furstenburg Florence Violet (nee Savaglio) Furstenburg, 90, of Waukegan passed away peacefully on Monday, October 26, 2015, at her home with her loving family by her side.
She was born February 25, 1925, in Waukegan and remained a lifelong resident.
Florence was a member of St. Anastasia Parish, worked at Sears as a bookkeeper, Fansteel in the office and as a loving homemaker.
She is survived by her children, James (Donnamaria) Katalinich of Sun City, CA, Jacquelyn (Gerald) Grana of Winthrop Harbor, Lynn (Everett Lewis) Zak of Waukegan; grandchildren, Bobby (Jennifer) Beskow, Kathy (Ricardo) Rivas, Jenny (Charlie) Sundell, Alana (Daniel) Ciulla, Joseph Scoville, Vicki Gonzalez, Daniel (Laurie) Poindexter, Nykkole (Dwayne) Keoppel, Joseph Jones, Shelly (Jason) Adams, Jerry (Cynthia) Grana, Steven (Jillian) Grana, Garrett (Fabiola) Grana, Shannon (Chad) Spandet, Aaron (Tiffany) Lewis; thirty-two great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and brother, Frank Savaglio.
Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Furstenburg; grandson, Edward Beskow; parents, Ralph and Mary (nee Laffredi) Savaglio, brother, Ralph Savaglio and sister, Ann (Olson) Savaglio.
Funeral mass will be 10:30 AM on Monday, November 2, 2015, at St. Anastasia Church, 624 Douglas Ave., Waukegan. Interment will be at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the church.
