Dorothy J. Kurtz Obituary (1923

Dorothy J. Kurtz was born in Rhinelander, WI September 21, 1923 and died on January 2, 2017 in Round Lake Beach, IL. She was the daughter of Orby and Irene Knutson. Dorothy was married to Daniel Kurtz for 56 years until his death in 2004. She loved her family and friends very much and was an avid reader, cribbage player, loved to fish and play board games. She was very independent and was still driving at age 92. She will be missed by her 3 children, Dan (Lori) Kurtz, Dana (Ken) Miklos, and Sandra Sieler; sister Irene (Carl) Macdonald; 6 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and numerous friends of many years. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband Daniel; sister Carol and brother Francis. Visitation will be held on Friday January 6, 2017 from 3-7 PM at Peterson & Patch Funeral Home 408 N Sheridan Rd in Waukegan. Interment will be private. For information please call, (847) 623-0495.
