David John Brogan

David John Brogan, 74, of Waukegan passed away Friday, February 25, 2022 at home. He suffered from ALS/Lou Gehrig's Disease.

David was born May 2, 1947 to George and Doris Brogan. After graduating from North Chicago, High School, he attended the University of Denver. Over the years David worked at U.S. Steel, North Shore Sanitary District, American Hospital Supply, Baxter, Cardinal Health, Allegiance, and Trammel Crow. David married Bonnie Zaker on October 16, 1971.

David is survived by Bonnie, son John (Brooke) Brogan and daughter Meredith (Shane) Schueneman, 6 grandchildren: twins Brock and Grace Brogan, twins Kiera and Kendal Schueneman and Ryan and Jack Schueneman. Also surviving are brothers Michael (Marla) and Marc (Janice) Brogan, sister Jill (Vince) Cannon, sisters-in-law Loretta Gesky and Roberta (Stephen) McKay and numerous nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents George Brogan and Doris Brogan (nee Johnson), father-in-law and mother-in-law Vince and Loretta Zaker (nee Koncan), sister-in-law Debra Sleddens (nee Zaker) and brother-in-law Charles Gesky.

Per David's request, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
