Bill Harding

George "Bill" Harding was born on December 14, 1949, to George Harding and Bernice Grace (Schumaker) Harding in Waukegan, IL.
Bill grew up in several towns around Waukegan. He graduated from Warren High School in Gurnee, IL, in 1967.

Bill married his incredible wife, Nancy Pasquali, shortly after graduation. They have been married for 53 years.

Bill started working on cars at an early age and eventually became a Master Mechanic for Pace, where he worked for nearly 40 years.

He was committed to whatever he set his mind to doing!

Later in life Bill put his faith in Jesus Christ and followed Him as his Lord and Savior. He was enthusiastic about sharing his faith with his neighbors and anyone he struck up a conversation with. He attended church at Living Waters Assembly in Grays Lake.
After retirement Bill continued to enjoy fixing things and being an all around handyman. He
loved working in his yard and mowing grass. Spending time with Nancy and spoiling the grandkids were also high on his priority list.
His family thinks of Bill as generous and kind hearted. He often paid for items for those who couldn't afford it.

Bill is preceded in death by his father and mother, mother in law Ruth Pasquali, and two sisters Donna and Sandy.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; two sons: David, of Rockford, and Shawn (Alisha) of Southeast MO, and 3 grandkids, who he adored.

Also two sisters: Debbie Woodard and Vickie Myers, who he held dear to his heart.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on June 18, at Living Waters Assembly in Grayslake, IL. Public Visitation will be at 5:00pm with a service at 6:00pm. Private Burial will occur on Thursday, June 19.
