Barbara Jean Walker

Barbara Jean Walker, 71, of Waukegan passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan.
She was born June 23, 1943 in Waukegan and was a lifelong area resident.
Barbara was a member of St. Patrick’s parish in Wadsworth, Silver Sneakers with the Waukegan Park District and had retired from Kmart Corp as a bookkeeper after 20 years of service.
She is survived by her son, Mark Walker of Waukegan; sisters, Linda (John) Schueneman of Wadsworth, Jackie (Gary Pierre) Prues of Glenview; Nephews, Matt Schueneman of Zion, Shane (Meredith) Schueneman of Wadsworth, Geoff (Lisa) Christophersen of Lake Zurich; niece, Kelly (Brandon) Shilts of Kenosha, WI.; twelve great nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Nola Martin of North Carolina; close friends, Gregory Mason of Racine, WI. And Charlene (Walter) Tinsley of Waukegan.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, John Ray Walker and parents, Arnold Earhardt and Ruth E. Adams.
Funeral mass will be 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at St Patrick Church (main church) 15000 Wadsworth Rd., Wadsworth. Interment will be private at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to time of mass at the church.
