Kai was deeply loved long before his family ever had the chance to hold him. For nine months, his family eagerly awaited his arrival, not knowing whether they would be welcoming a baby boy or baby girl into the family. His big brother, Kalan, and big sister, Leila, could not wait to meet their new sibling. As the day grew closer, they were always wondering when the baby would finally come out. Mommy’s belly was never far from their attention, often getting little pats as they excitedly said, “baby, baby, baby,” before leaning in to give it a kiss. In their own little ways, Kalan and Leila were already becoming a big brother and big sister, excited to help with the baby and have a new sibling beside them as they grew up. Anthony and Alyssa dreamed of those days too, watching their three children grow together, play together, and experience life side by side. On August 9, 2026, Kai was born still, weighing 8 pounds, 3 ounces and measuring 21.5 inches long. He was a beautiful baby boy with a full head of dark hair that resembled his big brother, Kalan, and a sweet little face that resembled his big sister, Leila. His family is incredibly grateful for the time they were able to spend holding him, loving him, and seeing the little pieces of their family reflected in him. The time his family had with him was far too short, but the love he brought into their lives will last a lifetime. He will forever be a beloved son, little brother, grandson, great-grandson, nephew, and a deeply loved part of his family. His memory will be carried with them always. Kai is survived by his loving parents, Anthony and Alyssa Klein; his siblings, Kalan and Leila Klein; his grandparents, Tony (Papa) and Jeannie (Nini) Klein and Jeff (Pops) and Cindy (Cici) Bridleman; his great-grandparents, Dan (The Dude) and Jill Bridleman (Bean), Bonnie Bridleman (Gigi), John and Barb Haske, Chuck (Papapa) and Sharon Klein, Larry and Carol (Gwama) Jackson, and Josie Wildanger; his aunts and uncle, Griffin (G) and Elayna (Titi) Klein and Amanda Bridleman (Nani). Kai was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers, Jeff McAdams and Bill Wildanger. Kai’s funeral service will be held privately.
