John Allan Morabito Obituary (2022)

Jack Allan Morabito, 90, passed away March 5th, 2022. He grew up in Waukegan, Illinois and joined the Army in 1952. Jack owned and operated many businesses including K & R Hitches and Morabito’s Bowling Uniform Service. Outside of work, Jack dedicated many hours to earn his pilot’s license fulfilling his passion for flying. Jack and Tonita spent many years on Buckatabon Lake in Conover, Wisconsin. He actively supported the Chain Skimmers Water Ski Show for over 40 years. Jack loved to fix anything and everything — he truly was a “Jack” of all trades. Beloved husband of Tonita. Caring son of late Mildred and late Joe Morabito. Loving father of late Josef (Juliana), John (Lori), Kirk (Claire), Rick (Mary Rose), and Tony Morabito. Adored grandfather of Naree Morabito and Janille (Eric) Marro, Joey, Justin, and Jenna Morabito, Ryan, Daniel, and Colin Morabito, Grace, Evan, and Gabriel Morabito, and Jackson Morabito. Great grandfather of Nadiya, Haley, Luc, Sofia, Anthony, and Owen. Visitation will be held Monday, March 14th from 1-4:30 PM with service to follow at Peterson & Patch Funeral Home in Waukegan, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wounded Warrior Project and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Jack is missed very much by all those whose lives he touched.
